FX has released a new trailer and teaser poster for Noah Hawley’S Alien series Alien: earthto celebrate earth day. It seems that the teaser is narrated by Neil Degrasse Tyson.
IGN also launched a “Alien: earth” World Guide, which is an interactive campaign for the series that “provides fans of the acclaimed science fiction Horror franchise an exclusive look at the FX-Hulu series arriving this summer”.
The campaign will be in this year Alien day Saturday 26 April, and is a place set for fans to find exclusive information and teaser for Alien: earthincluding a series of videos “Hyding the gestation of a xenomorphic”. The first of these videos is already available today.
In the series: “When a mysterious spaceship crashes on Earth, a young woman (Sydney Chandler) and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers makes a fateful discovery that puts them face to face with the greatest threat on the planet.
“While the members of the crew recovery crew seek survivors between the wrecks, meet mysterious predatory forms more terrifying than they could have ever imagined.
“With this new unlocked threat, the research crew must fight for survival and what they choose to do with this discovery could change the planet Earth as they know.”
The story is set three decades before the events of Ridley Scott’s 1979 Classic Alien And a few years earlier Prometheus. The series will find the characters “captured in a conflict with the beginning of artificial intelligence and the competition between developers and users”.
Hawley previously said about the story: “It is set on the ground of the future. At this moment, I describe it as Edison against Westinghouse against Tesla. Someone is about to monopolize electricity. We simply don’t know what it is.”
He continued: “In movies, we have this Weyland-Yutani Corporation, which is clearly developing artificial intelligence, but what happens if there are other companies that try to look at immortality in a different way, with transhuman cyborg improvements or downloads? What of these technologies will you win?”
This series will be based “both the timeless horror of the first alien film with the non-stop action of the second, it will be a frightening thrill that will trace the people to their places.”
Hawley also said: “There is something to see an xenomorphic in the wild lands of the earth with your eyes. This is really chilling to think that you move here among us, and therefore I can’t tell you in what circumstances you will see it, but you will see it – and you intend to close your door that night.”
He added: “What was really fun for me was really committed to the creature, bring some of my thoughts to design without touching the silhouette, because it is sacrosanct.
“But some of the elements as we know, whatever the guest, informs what the final creature is. I just wanted to play a little to make it frightening as it should be.”
The show is also mutual Alex Lawther (The end of the world of F*Cking) as a male protagonist, a soldier named CJ, with Samuel Blekin (Black mirror) like another main character named Boy Kavalier, CEO. Additional cast members include Essie Davis (Miss Fisher’s Murder Myteries) as Dame Silvia, e Adarsh Gourav (The white tiger) as slightly.
Alien: earth It will be released in 2025.
