The Slayer Doom has returned, and this time it is swinging a medieval armor, brandishing a giant crossbow that also acts as a BFG and fighting a Lovecraftico nightmare.
Doom: the dark centuries I have just dropped a new trailer, and it is a dream of fever soaked in cinematographic chaos and metal chaos Heavy.
The ID software previewed the trailer during Wrestlemania 41Complete with WWE Drew McIntyre Cosplaying stars like Doomguy himself. The trailer exchanges the usual gameplay-forceard approach for something a little more dramatic, immersing itself in history behind this prequel soaked in blood.
Set long before the events of Doom (2016), The dark centuries Revolutionly rewind the temporal sequence to explore the first days of the Slayer as a member of the sentinels, a brutal warrior caste that apparently decided to lead the doomguy and let him go only when all the other hopes were lost.
The story paints it less like a hero and more like a weapon of mass destruction kept under control. And let’s say only … it doesn’t seem electrified.
The off -field voice releases this disturbing line: “It is not one of us … it’s something we found. It is anger. It is pain. And when the moment will come, we will free it.”
It seems Doom: the dark centuries It is becoming full mythical with his narrative, positioning the killing as a god of the chained war, retained only until the same doors of hell opened.
The trailer ends by making fun of an imposing nightmare with biomechanical elements, something that resembles the spawn impia of the Icon of sin AND Cthulhu. It is enormous, grotesque and otherworldly.
Doom: the dark centuries It is scheduled for the launch of May 15, 2025. It is metal, it is monstrous and could be the most ambitious Doom game ever.
