Well, it’s happening. The worlds are colliding Avengers: DoomsdayAnd now a photo emerged from the set giving fans their first peek in two legendary mutants who helped to define an era of superhero cinema: Cyclops and Magneto, once again played once again by James Marsden AND Ian McKellen.
The image (shared away @Teeceecomics) It does not give much at the level of the plot but captures a moment of tranquility between the two characters. Marsden is casually dressed, but he is looking at those signings in Ruby Quartz sunglasses.
As for McKellen, it is partially suitable for magnet’s royal clothing, Cape and everything else. I am half a conversation in a very anonymous setting, but who cares! I am again Cyclope and Magneto!
A few weeks ago, Marvel has dropped a huge Cast list for Avengers: DoomsdayAnd since then the fans have dismissed every name. Of the 27 confirmed cast members, several names came out for the fans of the long-standing X-men, in particular those who grew up watching Fox films.
That list also included Patrick Stewart (Professor X), Kelsey Grammer (Beast), Rebecca Romijn (Mystical), Alan Cumming (Nightcrawler), e Channing Tatum (Gambit).
As we know from Wonders and the next Deadpool and WolverineMarvel is not just playing with the idea of a multival crossover, they are fully leaning. These X-Men’s return characters seem ready to play a key role in both Avengers: Doomsday and the eventual Secret wars mega-event.
While we are all thrilled to see Marsden and McKellen back, fans are still hoping that some more familiar faces appear.
Many fans hope that the next Casting ads include Hugh Jackman’S Wolverine, Halle BerryStorm, e Ryan Reynolds’ Dead Pool.
Regardless of this, it is fantastic to see these characters again after all these years. I can’t wait to see what their place will be in history.
Joe AND Anthony Russo they are directing the film and Avengers: Doomsday is intended to be released on May 1, 2026, with Avengers: Secret Wars scheduled to arrive on May 7, 2027.
