Funny horror short film Curse of Vampire Vampire sees two horror enthusiasts watching a mysterious vampire movie

Here is a fun horror short film to look at entitled Curse of the velvet vampireAnd he focuses on two Chinese horror enthusiasts, who meet in a cult video shop to watch the mysterious Vampire movie called “The Currse of the Velvet Vampire”.

The film tells the story: “Of a metal band called 802 and a lot of beautiful vampire girls. However, the film is not of all tastes, and slowly the reality of the film and the world of the two Chinese begin to merge. Something terrifying has been brought back to life and now, only fear and death await them.”

The film, of the writer and director Christofer SchurichtIt is shared in collaboration with the Film Film Festival, where we are trying to exhibit some of the Radical Indie Radicals films and shorts that the filmmakers are creating.

What was the inspiration for your movie? How did you come the idea?

Being inspired by the yellowish film of the 70s and Euro’s Thrash films from the infused period with stylistic signals of horror films from the 80s and contemporary Korean films. This little bastard of a movie was born. It is a love letter to the genre film and a statement that in the cinema “One Mans Cesth is another treasure” is a confused, Gothic and Heavy Metal film, which has themes of anxiety, addiction, condemned love and dark humor.

Tell us about you. What is your background? How long have you been a director?

My name is Christoffer Schuricht and I am a commercial publisher and a training colorist and I worked, among others, David Lynch, Millie Bobby Brown, Charli XCX, etc. And some of the greatest directors of commercial films in Scandinavia and the United States.

I am represented by the largest AOA CPH agency for filmmakers and publishers in Scandinavia. You can watch my movie roll here. What I do most is fashion through my work and I worked for Vogue, Dior, Pandora and so on, among other things.

I also received the Danish States Arts Foundation, a three -year subsidy for two short films that I directed. In addition, I wrote and modified a series of short films and a film, which have been selected for the main international festivals all over the world.

What inspires you to work within gender cinema and tell this type of stories?

The freedom to tell stories in an environment without borders but your imagination.

What was your favorite part of the film process for this project?

Russing at the finish to make the movie.

What are you most proud of this movie?

To see and feel that you have connected to a different audience all over the world.

What is a favorite story or a moment from the making of the film you would like to share?

By shooting the choreographed dance of the vampires in a very moody castle, it seemed to be in a hammer film, it was quite poetic and macbre at the same time.

What was your most demanding moment or experience you had while you shoot your movie?

Shoot the last shots of the day at the three morning watches, with gene and the crew running on empty in the middle of nothing.

In this case, how has your film changed or deferred by its original concept during pre-production, production and/or post-production? How did the way you approach future projects as a result?

It was thought differently that possibility during filming, but above all for the better, but many lessons have also been learned in the hardest way.

Who were some of your collaborators and actors of the film? How did you start working with each other?

I worked with the writer and director Poul Erik Madsen (who wrote the screenplay for the film) for more than twenty years on different projeks together, we meet in the cinema school,

What is the best advice you have ever received as director and what would you mean to the new filmmakers?

Never give up, it doesn’t matter what. Don’t try to do it.

What are your plans for your career and what do you hope that this film does for this? What kind of stories would you like to tell going on?

I hope I have the opportunity to do the function I am working on now.

What is your next project and when can we expect to see it?

A story of southern Gothic ghosts, inspired by films such as “Night of the Hunter” & Vice Squad “

The taxi driver, the midnight cowboy, one flew over the nest of the cuckoo, time of the gypsies, the brilliant, the good, the bad and the ugly.
