Sphere Entertainment Co., which manages the incredible sphere Arena of Las Vegas, in Nevada, has announced two new projects that screen in their headquarters – “The Wizard of Oz At Sphere” and “from the Edge” – currently in production by Spee Studios. Both productions are part of the list of original sphere immersive content called sphere experience.
“Our goal for the experience of the sphere is a diversified list that uses the power of the sphere as an experiential means.” The wizard of Oz in Sfera “ And “from the Edge” will push that vision forward in different ways, “said Jim Dolan, executive president and CEO of Spherre Entertainment.

Discovery, Google and Magnopus. The sphere will use “cutting -edge technologies to improve the film” and the production “will maintain the integrity of the original, pushing the boundaries of the experiential medium of Sphere”, according to an official description.
“From the Edge” will present five main athletes: the free diver Alenka Artnik, the skier Markus Eder, the rock climber Alex Honnold, the base jumper Katie Hansen Lajeunesse and the surfer Kai Lenny. Directed by E. Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin (“only free”), the production will bring the public to the world of extreme sports.
The five athletes are captured on the spot by Big Sky, the system of proprietary cameras of Sphere Entertainment developed to capture images on the staircase needed for the sphere display. Filming are currently underway in places in Jordan, Dubai, Switzerland, Bahamas, Austin, Las Vegas and Maui.
