Universal Pictures made the first teaser trailer for the next Blumhouse horror movie Five nights in Freddy’s 2! The teaser was initially previewed at the cinemacon but was released online shortly after, and this film seems to have fun!
I had fun watching the first movie, so I can’t wait to see how this next chapter in history takes place! Blumhouse confirmed that this film will only be released in cinemas on December 5, 2025.

Based on Scott Cawthon’s successful horror games series, Five nights in Freddy’s 2 It is again directed by the acclaimed return director Emma Tami (The wind, the blood moon).
The first film followed Mike, a troubled young man who reluctantly takes a job as a night security guard in an abandoned themed restaurant, the Freddy Fazbear pizzeria, hoping that he will help him preserve the custody of his young sister. That fateful decision instead drags him into the black heart of a supernatural nightmare. Mike’s story continues in the next sequel.
The film is starring Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard, even for more chaotic animatronic chaos! Jim Henson’s creature shop has also returned to manage animatronics!
Lillard had previously said about the sequel: “I will say that I think the filmmakers have done an excellent job in learning from the first film of what fans want, and I think they are giving much more. It will be more exciting and I think it will have more action.”
