Darkwing Duck by Seth Rogen still restarts in the works

We become dangerous!

After years of silence, it looks like the Darkwing Duck The restart did not die after everything. A new Thedisinsider report issues some life in the Disney+project, originally announced in 2020.

While the study has not made anything official for a long time, the restart is still being developed, it is flying under the radar.

The series is being developed by Seth Rogen AND Evan Goldberg who act as producers on the reboot of the iconic Disney afternoon superhero show. The report does not offer much in terms of new details of the plot or casting, but suggests that the project is still alive in some form.

Adding to the update is a fan encounter with the only one Jim cummingsThe voice behind the original Darkwing. According to that post, Cummings said in 2024 that the restart was still in progress and that he would return to express the new opinion on the character. Nothing was officially confirmed, but if true, it would be fantastic.

I was a big fan of Darkwing Duck When I was growing, so it would be quite surprising if this awakening of the series actually happened.

This new Darkwing Duck The series would mark the third iteration of the character, who made his debut in 1991 as an ironic pulpy series of superheroes with Jim Cummings as a voice of Drake Mallard.

Worked for over 90 episodes and subsequently returned as a reinvented version during the DuckTales Restive in 2017. That version even presented a special of an hour focused on Darkwing, where Cummings returned, but as an evil version of the hero.

Now, with a new speech on Disney restart+ still going on, the door has not completely closed to see once again the best in St. Canard action. The terror that flows in the night could only prepare for a great return.
