A long time has passed, but Rick and Morty Season 8 officially has a date of release and a teaser trailer to accompany it.
Adult Swim made the announcement in the context of his annual hijacking in April of April, revealing that the next chapter of the interdimensional chaos begins on May 25 at 23:00 et/pt.
This new season comes later than fans. For years, Rick and Morty He had maintained a relatively constant annual release program. But after season 7 wrapped, Adult Swim confirmed that season 8 would be delayed in 2025, largely due to production slowdowns related to the WGA strike.
In addition, the show sailed some important changes behind the scenes. Before season 7, Adult Swim separated from the co-creator and ex-main voice actor Justin Roiland.
The show has reintroduced with Ian Cardoni express rick e Harry Belden Like Morty, and with surprise of many, fans embraced the new voices. The rest of the Core cast—Chris Parnell, Spencer Grammer, Sarah ChalkeAND Dan Harmon—Remains intact.
Harmon, who continues to lead the creative accusation, commented on the return: “Nobody wants a universe without Rick and Morty. Fortunately, the list of places to go remains infinite”.
Showrunner series Scott Marder Added: “I couldn’t be more proud to have taken this step of witness during a lifetime Rick and Morty’s Fourth season and bring us to season 10. Go beyond this is now such a gift that I can’t wait to give our fans. Rick and Morty – one hundred years – forever!“
Season 8 will undoubtedly continue the absurdist, the science fiction narration for which the show is known, pushing more deeply into the multiverse with his mix of genius and nihilism. Enjoy the trailer!
