John Boyega I didn’t want to spend another Star Wars Film to the ground in the earth. In a recent Comic panel with Di Emerald City (via Popverse), the actor behind Finn opened on his conversations with Skywalker’s ascent director JJ AbramsIn particular, to make his character take off. Literally.

Introduced in The force awakens Like Stormtrooper on the run that brandishes a laser sword, Finn started with a serious potential just to be put aside The last Jedi.
The central chapter saw him wake up from a coma, heading to singing canto and entering the captain Phasma, but much of his journey seemed like a narrative deviation.
Boyega said: “There was a level of growth from The last Jedi TO Skywalker’s ascent That JJ and I had spoken to add. I was like JJ, ‘I’m tired of eating jj dirty, I know how to move. My laser sword skills are undeniable. Take me off the pitch there. ‘”
“I remember JJ came to me and said:” John, we took you, we have poe, we have chewbacca who runs through the corridors, eliminating these Stormtrooper. “And that’s then that I said:” Yes, it’s enough. “It was a nice moment and something to have fun.”
For the most part, however, Finn’s character could have been managed much better in the trilogy and his history could have been stronger and much more interesting.
While it is not yet clear if Finn shows up again in a distant galaxy, very distant, the character may appear again in the next Rey Skywalker film that is currently in development.
