Disney+ has released a new trailer for Doctor Who Season 2, and sees the doctor and his new partner Belinda Chandra while venturing over time and space.
Their journey brings them from a futuristic 51st century to the 803th Interstellar Songs Competition to become animated characters, which is a first one for the series. It looks like a fun moment!
Here is the synopsis for Doctor Who Season 2: “The doctor meets Belinda Chandra and begins an epic research to bring it back to Earth. But a mysterious force is stopping their return and the Tardis team to travel through time must face great dangers, bigger enemies and wilder terror than ever.”

They are united by a cast of guests who includes Rose Ayling-Eellis, Christopher Chung, Rylan Clark, Alan Cumming, Anita Dobson, Freddie Fox, Michelle Greenidge, Jonah Hauer-King, Ruth Madeley, JEMMA Redgrave AND Susan Twist.

Season 2 is presented on Saturday 12 April on Disney+, where available, and exclusively on the BBC and the BBC IPlayer in the United Kingdom. New episodes of the season in eight parts will be presented in a weekly preview.
