The film talks about John Tuggle, to whom the title was given after being the last choice of the last round of the 1983 NFL draft. Jonathan Levine (50/50, Warm bodies) is a manager, with writer appointed to themly Nick Santora (Fubar, Reacher) Penning the script.
“Mr. Irileral” began in 1976 with the drafting of the USC Paul receiver Paul Salt, launching a series of events that have become known as an irrelevant week.
“A handful of players in that draft position has been successful, but Brock Purdy gave the moniker a lift since he hired the starting functions for the San Francisco 49ers, bringing them to the Super Bowl after the 2023 season.
While Tuggle’s story is very different than that of Purdy, its story still touches the notes that make an ideal film to add to the Slate’s film by Skydance Sports.
