A black knight is faced with a dragon ready to unleash a raged fire on the knight’s enemies.
I love going beyond the materials for the Power Rangers role -playing game game And I’m here to talk about one of the pre-built adventures: A knight time.
This adventure was released last year and is really an excellent partner of The Time Travel Sourcebook, A leap over time (my incoming review). You need the Main rulebook To play, but if you like what you read, you can buy A knight time Now from your local games shop, the Renegade web store or even Drivethrurpg (affiliation link). Renegade provided me with a copy of the adventure, but all the thoughts below are mine.
“When the Power Rangers learn the Black Knight scheme to govern the future, they face the past to have a possibility against the knight’s draconic dynasty! Can Rangers overcome the knight’s claims, recover magical artifacts and prevail against timeless evil? “
A knight time It is an adventure designed for 4-6 level five Power Rangers and includes five new threats that GM can incorporate into their Essence20 adventures. The adventure has five chapters to play and involves some Shenanigans for time travel.
Two of the chapters can be played in both orders in which Rangers must visit Colonial Angel Grove and The Wild West (Shoutout A “Wild West Rangers”).
Honestly, passing A knight time It was very funny. I didn’t have the opportunity to play it, but reading it for sure I think it would be fun for a group that wants to play with a little travel over time.
I’m afraid I have already said too much without a spoiler tag, so I’ll leave it to: I think it will be a fun adventure for fans of Power Rangers RPG.
Now that I can speak in a more in -depth way (thanks spoiler alert!) Let’s dig. In essence, the Black Knight presents itself to raise a lot of confusion for the rangers that push them to investigate issues. They then meet the white knight who helps them travel back in time to collect pieces of the MacGuffin of the adventure (the wizard of the deception wand). This implies return to the aforementioned periods of time (and meet some ancestors of Tommy Oliver), defeating monsters that should not be there, etc. Once the rangers have macguffins can aim to stop the black knight.
There are a couple of things I like A knight time. First, you have two opportunities to fight a dragon! There are also red stucco patrols that I simply hilarious. I also appreciate the nod of the head to the TV show with things like The White Stranger. From the GMS point of view, I appreciate that the Essence20 Team includes tips for adjusting each meeting to better combine your table.
I believe it honestly Power Rangers RPG Fans will appreciate A knight time If they haven’t played it yet. It is quite simple, but it would serve as a fantastic introduction to the journey through time in your campaign, whether it is a one -off thing or to bring your rangers to be more involved with the temporal force while you support you more and more travel over time.
