Review: Daredevil: Born Agian is a tough reminder of how Marvel peak appears

Marvel fought to regain the magic that once made her projects, but with Daredevil: born againThey finally delivered something that is worth getting excited again.

The first two episodes are exactly what I wanted to see from Marvel: a visceral and emotionally charged story full of a brutal and creaking action.

From the moment the series kicks off, makes one clear … this is Daredevil The way in which it should be, intransigent, intense and guided by the character.

I was disappointed by many recent Marvel projects, but this series? This is different. The narrative is focused, the characters have a real weight and writing seems acute and strong.

Charlie Cox He has returned to excellent shape like Matt Murdock, bringing the depth and nuance that made his representation so compelling in the original Daredevil series. Vincent d’Onofrio Since Wilson Fisk is equally threatening and calculated as always, and their inevitable clash is preparing to be a hell of a showdown.

It is a relief to see Marvel investing in storytelling that does not seem to be playing safely or trying to adapt to a larger and confused universe.

What is really imposed Born again Apart from his commitment for a rough and not filtered action. The combat choreography is exactly what you want to see in the MCU. This is the type of combat that makes you jump, the type that reminds you why Daredevil First of all, he became such a favorite by fans.

It’s not just elegant, it’s wild, and that’s exactly what it should be. But beyond the fighting, the show does not forget to offer strong emotional moments. The weight of Matt’s struggles, the tension between its double identities and the looming threat of FISK make everyone a compelling clock.

With a stellar support cast, included Deborah Ann Woll Like Karen Page, Elden Henson as a misty Nelson, e Jon BernhalThe return like Frank Castle, the show is full of family faces that add depth to history. I am so happy that Marvel decided to report these characters.

The series is provided with a stacked support cast and the performances raise an already strong script. With Justin Benson AND Aaron Moorhead At the helm, the show has a clear and safe vision.

A long time has passed since I was so enthusiastic about a Marvel project. Daredevil: born again It seems a return to form, a reminder that must not be sacrificed a great narrative and a harsh action for the show.

If the rest of the season maintains this level of quality, we could just watch the best Marvel TV series. It was a frustrating years of mediocrity from Marvel, but if this is the new standard, then Marvel could finally return to the track.
