A large trailer was released for the historical drama Audrey’s childrenwhich is based on the true history of the pioneering pediatric oncologist, dr. Audrey Evans, who launched the first Ronald McDonald House for families of children who fight cancer. His research and work in the medical field have influenced millions of children and their families for generations. Is played in the film by Natalie Dormerwhich is combined with the cast from Jimmi Simpson, Clancy BrownAND Brandon Micheal Hall.
Audrey’s children it is directed by Ami Canaan Mann (Morning, Texas Killing Fields, Jackie & Ryan) by a script written by Julia Fisher Farbman.
The synopsis of the film reads:
“The children of Audrey tell the true story not told of the British visionary doctor Dr. Audrey Evans (Natalie Dormer), who entered the scene in 1969 as the first female head of oncology at the world -renowned Pediatric Hospital. By fighting sexism, medical conventions and the subterfuge of its peers, Evans developed the first stadding system of neuroblastoma, he co-founded the first home of Ronald McDonald for the families of patients and, ultimately, have had an impact on the lives of millions of children and families all over the world. “
