Lee Kwan Hee and Yoo Si Eun, cast members of the Netflix reality series Singles Inferno 3, have confirmed they are in a relationship, surprising fans who watched them choose different partners during the show.
On July 29, the pair each posted an identical joint statement to their Instagram accounts, accompanied by photos of themselves together. In the statement, they said they wanted to personally share happy news and thanked supporters for the warmth and interest that had given them the time to get to know each other better.
The couple said they decided to go public after getting to know each other away from the cameras. They also expressed a desire to build a strong relationship and said that going forward they would care for and support each other as they built something beautiful together.
An unexpected pairing after the show ended
The announcement caught many fans off guard. During the final selection round of Singles Inferno 3, Lee Kwan Hee, a 38-year-old professional basketball player, chose Choi Hye Seon, while Yoo Si Eun, a 29-year-old former Miss Korea 2022 runner-up, left the show alongside Choi Min Woo.
According to both, their connection grew stronger after filming ended. A close friendship developed between them following the reality show, which over time turned into a romantic relationship. Singles Inferno 3 premiered on Netflix in 2023.
