Netflix released the first trailer for Josh DuhamelModern Cowboy Western series Ransom Canyonwhich is an adaptation of the book of Jodi Thomas, Ransom Canyon: a small love story from Cowboy.
The series is a familiar drama fueled by romance and a contemporary western saga that traces the lives that intersect and the loves of three Ranch families have put themselves against the large tundras and the Rolling rivers of the Texas Hill Country.
In the series, loyalty collides “Under Texas Hill Country Mesas Crimson. With three family dynasties of Ranch locked in a tender for the control of the earth, their lives and inheritance are threatened by external forces intent on destroying their lifestyle.
“At the center of everything there is the Stoic Rancher Staten Kirkland (Duhamel), who is healed by the heartbreaking loss and looking for revenge. The only glimmer of hope of Staten rests in the eyes and heart of Quinn O’grady (Mink Kelly), a longtime family friend and owner of the local dancehall.
“But while the battle to save redemption wages, a mysterious cowboy goes to the city, descending secrets of the past. Vise Surrying, Staten fights to protect the land that calls the house and the only love that can pull it back from the demons that persecute him … “

Ransom Canyon It is created and showrun by the manufacturer and writer April Blair (Reign, The Shannara Chronicles, All American) .Netflix will debut the Ransom Canyon on April 17, 2025.
