First look at the DC Lanterni series with Kyle Chandler and Aaron Pierre

DC Studios offers a first look at the next series Lantern And is characteristic Kyle Chandler AND Aaron Pierre Like Hal Jordan and John Stewart.

Yes, they are not decorated in their uniforms of the police lantern policemen, but you can see a green ring on Chandler’s finger. Otherwise, the two protagonists are in their civil clothes and walk along a deserted highway.

The series follows “the new recruit John Stewart and the legend of the Hal Jordan lanterns, two intergalactic policemen attracted in a dark and earth -based mystery while investigating a murder in the American heart”.

During a previous interview with the Scriba comic Tom King (Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow), he explained why those two actors are perfect for these roles.

King said: “I mean, I would say that I am in seventh heaven, but it’s not far enough for a lantern. I guess they have finished or? It’s quite far away. You should see these two together. They have an extraordinary chemistry and I could not be more excited. It is not allowed to say anything except that I can say that it is fantastic!”

“We have the perfect cast. When you look at Kyle, you see someone who made JetPlani fly and embody Hal. When you look at Aaron, her heart, her soul and strength are so John Stewart. It is so perfect. It will be fantastic.”

The cast also includes Kelly MacDonald, Garret Dillahunt, Pootna Jagannathan AND Ulrich Thomsen Like the villain of the Sinestro green lantern.

Lantern it is co-scored by Chris mundy, Damon Lindelof and Tom King. All three serve as executive producers together with James Haweswhich also directs the first two episodes.
