Tell us about you. What is your background? How long have you been a director?
25 years
What inspires you to work within gender cinema and tell this type of stories?
I am interested in narration, and the cinema, science fiction and fantasy are the way in which I frame my stories.
What was your favorite part of the film process for this project?
I was working on a stage with several active sets that were the whole world of my film.
What are you most proud of this movie?
The look.

The nuclear engine was to be a 3D shot. However, due to 3D working delays, I made the engine a half on a physical scale and we filmed it practically.

Collecting money, always the biggest challenge.
In this case, how has your film changed or deferred by its original concept during pre-production, production and/or post-production? How did the way you approach future projects as a result?
Each film evolves uniquely during pre-production, production and post-production, strengthening my understanding that each project is its body. This process made me more comfortable and confident with every company.

“My DP, Jon Schweigart, was a key collaborator in three projects. The main support actress and I worked together for the first time, while the rest of the crew and the cast are longtime collaborators, we compare it to form a band.
What is the best advice you have ever received as director and what would you mean to the new filmmakers?
The best advice I received was simple: “Don’t do it, it’s not worth it”. This is not sarcasm or humor; It is a control of reality that makes you think.
What are your plans for your career and what do you hope that this film does for this? What kind of stories would you like to tell going on?
I am fully engaged in my film career, embracing the mentality “dies”, above all because I deal with the reality of that equation: they are not a spring chicken. I am interested in the basic stories that deepen adversity, love non -corresponding, success and failure, all the challenges of life. Always explore these themes within the reigns of science fiction, fantasy and perhaps one day, if I am lucky, the western genre.
What is your next project and when can we expect to see it?
Currently, I am launching three functionality projects and are in pre-production on another science fiction short film called “Starfisher”. It is a fuck Moby / the old man and the sea inspired by science fiction. See above mentioned “die trying” mentality “for the reason I’m doing this after.
