Dave Bautista (Guardians of the galaxy AND Dune) is destined to act in the next dystopian science fiction thriller Dreadnought. He is returning with his Bushwick directors, Cary Murnion AND Jonathan Milottfor the project.
The story focuses on “Max (Bautista), whose world was devastated when an alien species accidents on Earth, unleashing a deadly plague that claimed his wife and much of humanity.
“In the fragile society that remains, humans have learned to coexist with their extraterrestrial invaders. But for Max, survival is not enough. “
“Her greatest daughter, Greta, is dying of the disease. While his body weakens, an alien sentinel hides out of their home, getting closer and closer while Greta makes the final breath.
“This silent and adamant predator is on a mission to collect his body to create an unstoppable ritual of metamorphosis. The government sanctions it. The company accepts it. But Max refuses to have something else taken by him. “
Manufacturer Basil Iwanyk said in a statement: “Erica and I tried to make a movie with Jon and Cary since we saw Bushwick.
“I am able to create an incredible tension, mount some action and create a compelling world without breaking the bank. It is exactly the type of filmmaker that Thunder Road has succeeded in the past. “
The film was written by Joseph Greenberg and it seems that it will be another good film project to face by Bautista.
