Here is the first trailer for Luc BessonThe next film project June and Johnwhich was announced for the first time three years ago. The film is described as a “love story for the centuries” and is played by new arrivals Matilda price AND Luke Stanton Eddy.
The film follows John, “A young man stuck in a monotonous routine, whose life turns when he meets June, a vibrant and fearless woman. Together, they embark on a swirling adventure full of passion, risk and discovery of self-a race against the clock (and the law) which injects color, magic and love in their lives. “
The film was shot entirely on a phone during the pandemic, and is a low budget departure for Besson after making enormous projects such as The femme nikita, Leon AND The fifth element.
According to the producers, he sees Besson “return to his creative roots, embracing a raw, intimate and enterprising cinematographic process that recalls his first career”.
“He also captures the ingenuity and passion that have defined his beginnings as a young director and channels the spirit of creativity under pressure, resulting in a visually stunning and emotionally rich experience”.
