DJ Art Bell was a pioneering radio broadcaster known for his paranormal talk show late at night Costa in Costa AM. Bell’s charm for the unknown led him to create a platform in which he explored topics such as UFOs, government conspiracy, time trips and supernatural phenomena.
Transmitting from his home to Pahrump, in Nevada, he developed a sequel of worship with his deep and hypnotic voice and the open mentality approach to discuss bizarre and inexplicable mysteries.
Unlike the traditional hosts, Bell rarely rejected the extravagant statements of his calls, promoting an atmosphere in which both skeptics and believers felt welcome.
His show became one of the most popular night programs in the country, attracting millions of dedicated listeners who tuned for their strange and unusual night dose.
His five-hour show was on Knye-Fm and, on coast in Coast, in the 90s, he would have attracted about 10 million listeners. Bell also said that he and his wife identified a “triangular profession 150 feet long” above their car a night before it disappeared.
