A new voice is waveing in the world of magicians while HBO is looking at the casting Cillian Murphy For a bad role in their imminent Harry Potter TV series.
However, despite the previous speculations, it is not in negotiations to interpret Lord Voldemort. Instead, the voice claims to be considered for a role of a season.
The scoop comes from the insider of the sector Daniel Richtman, who, although not always perfect, has a solid record track when it comes to entertainment losses. According to Richtman: “Cillian Murphy is observed to interpret Professor Quirinus Quirrell.”
Quirinus Quirrell is the defense against the Professor of Dark Arts Harry Potter and the philosopher’s stone (OR Sorcerer In the United States). It serves as the main antagonist of history, although his time in the series is short -lived.
It seems that it would be a fun role from Murphy to take if true. He is such a great actor and considers the duality of the character as nervous and without pretensions on the surface, but hosting a left secret, it is easy to understand why HBO would like someone of the caliber of Murphy to take the role.
In addition, the limited nature of the role makes it much more plausible for a great actor like Murphy commit. Unlike playing Voldemort, who could take years of work, Quirrell would be a unique bad guy, allowing Murphy to intervene, stealing the spotlight for a season and going on without blocking himself in a multiannual contract.
However exciting this voice is, it is only a voice and we have no idea that Murphy will end up in the role. HBO could want Murphy, but if it is interested (or available) it’s another story.
