Quentin Tarantino explains the moment when he realized that he wanted to become a director

Here is a video created by the Pop Dodford essayist who presents a series of interviews with Quentin TarantinoAnd in those interviews, he tells his story of how he went from an employee of the video shop to the talented director who is.

The director launched his career with Reservoir Dogs and he followed him with pulp Fictionwho are two incredible films that have resisted the test of time. In 1994, Tarantino said:

“The real time test is not on Friday that opens. This is how the film is thought of in thirty years. “

Tarantino also spoke of the moment he made while working in the video store that wanted to direct films instead of acting in them. He shared:

“I was hired in the video archives … the video store was a bit like my college. It was a great moment. We always watched movies and the shop was completely like a club house.

“We were having a lot of fun, but … in the end at some point, I realized that I didn’t just want to be in movies, I wanted to make movies.

“I came to the awareness that I am a director and I commit myself quite well, but what I really want to do is make movies.”
