Actor Brandon Sklenar (1923, Ends with us) is in negotiations to act in a modern western film entitled Rescue. Director Potsy Ponciroli (Old Henry, Avid people) will lead the film from a script of John Fusco. The plan is to start turning this summer.
David Ellison of Skydance, Dana Goldberg and Don Grantger will produce together with Ponciroli and his hidden photos, Down Home and Cliff Roberts. Aimee Rivera will supervise the project for Skydance.
The Log line is in the maintenance phase, but the rescue is a modern western, in which the skills of a cowboy rodeo are testing out of the arena.
Sklenar will be seen later in Blumhouse’s photo The drop In front of Meghan Fahay, who makes his first world of Sxsw before this spring comes out.
He is currently also turning the adaptation of the best -selling novel The waitress In front of Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried.
Recently he was also attached to the very popular package After the shock, who recently sold to Lionsgate in the first big sale of the new year. The second season of 1923 bows on February 23rd.
