LUKE CAGE The showrunner offers a small preview of what the discarded season 3 would have been like

It’s been almost a decade since the Marvel Netflix series Luca Gabbia debuted. It was among the Marvel shows on the streamer that were in the same universe and told really great stories and featured great actors.

Luca Gabbia lasted two seasons, and left us with a cliffhanger that led us to believe we’d see him return, but things were shaken up and those shows ended without the finality we’d intended.

Fans are still talking about the show, especially with the return of Daredevil in the new series Daredevil: Born Againand confirmation that Luke Cage and the rest of the Defenders are all MCU canon.

Not many details have been revealed to us since the end of the show, but the showrunner of the series Cheo Hodari Coker dropped some new stuff.

Last year, Coker revealed that the show’s third season episode titles would be inspired by Public Enemy songs and suggest an intense exploration of power, public perception and moral conflict.

They were supposed to be: “Public Enemy #1”, “Don’t Believe The Hype”, “Louder Than A Bomb”, “Burn Hollywood Burn”, “You’re Gonna Get Yours”, “Can’t Truss It”. ,” “Brothers Gonna…,” “Can’t Do Nuttin For Ya Man,” “Shut Em Down,” “Show Em Whatchu Got,” “Black Steel In The Hour Of Chaos,” “Welcome To The Terrordome,” and “Rebel without a break.”

This weekend, he expanded on that information when answering fan questions about the series’ unresolved ending, revealing that the creative team had plotted an ambitious continuation following Luke Cage’s transformation into the “new Godfather of Harlem.” Coker tweeted: “Six episodes written, 8 outlined, 13 screened… and no, I’m not saying s—.”

This is in line with previous information, as it had revealed 13 song titles. It’s really a shame that we’ll never see what could have happened in that third season.

Luca Gabbia it was a well made series, and Mike Colter he was fantastic in the title role. Maybe one day he will return to the MCU too.
