The Corridor Crew has released a new VFX Artists React video, and in this one they hilariously break down the visual effects of Francis Ford Coppola’S Megalopolis and react to how ridiculous the movie is.
If you haven’t seen the film yet, this video is really all you need to see. Who knows, maybe it will inspire you to watch the full movie just to experience the madness of it.
Megalopolis is a Roman epic set in an imagined modern America. The City of New Rome must change, causing conflict between Cesar Catilina (Adam Driver), a brilliant artist who seeks to launch himself into a utopian and idealistic future, and his opponent, Mayor Franklyn Cicero (Giancarlo Esposito), which remains committed to a regressive status quo, perpetuating greed, special interests, and partisan warfare.
“Divided between them is the worldly Julia Cicero (Nathalie Emmanuel), the mayor’s daughter, whose love for Cesar has divided her loyalties, forcing her to discover what she truly believes humanity deserves.
Megalopolis is easily one of the strangest films ever made.
