Netflix has released a new trailer for its new limited series Day Zerowhich is a procedural drama series centered around a cyber attack.
The series features a strong cast that includes Robert De Niro, Jesse Plemon, Lizzy Caplan, Connie Britton, Joan Allen, Matteo Modine AND Angela BassottoT.
Day Zero follows “Robert De Niro as the respected former US President George Mullen, who, as head of the Zero Day Commission, is tasked with finding the perpetrators of a devastating cyberattack that has caused chaos across the country and thousands of victims.
“As misinformation spreads and the personal ambitions of the powerful in tech, Wall Street and government collide, Mullen’s unwavering pursuit of the truth forces him to face his dark secrets and risk everything he holds dear.”
The series was created by Eric Newman and Noah Oppenheim who also serve as showrunners, writers and executive producers. Other cast members include Dan Stevens, Bill Campo, Gaby Hoffmann AND Clark Gregg.
The six-episode procedural thriller will arrive on Netflix on February 20.
