Fans have been eager to get a new look at the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again. It was previewed at last year’s D23 and New York Comic-Con, but despite online leaks, we’ve never seen it officially hit the web.
There were rumors that we were supposed to see it released last Monday, but that didn’t happen, so fans went straight to a source, asking one of the show’s stars, Vincenzo D’Onofriowhat’s happening.
The Kingpin actor was asked what was happening and he replied: “Postponed due to the LA fires. It’s coming.”
It appears some trailers were postponed last week due to the ongoing wildfires, which have caused widespread destruction in Los Angeles. Last week’s news cycle was a little slower, and there was even talk of postponing awards season.
This makes sense, given that Los Angeles is a major hub for movie and television news and many of its residents are under evacuation notices or, worse yet, have lost their homes. The current death toll is 24.
Soon we will receive our trailers and production will resume, but for now our thoughts are with those who have lost so much.
