Fans have been wondering what the chances are of getting a World War Hulk movies for a while now. Part of this story was explored in 2017 Thor: Ragnarokto borrow heavily from Planet Hulk . With Bruce Banner later returning to Earth as the “Smart Hulk,” we’re clearly not getting an easy adaptation.
This may be why the new rumors about the direction of the Hulk, in a WHulk from the old war the feature may be true.
She-Hulk: Lawyer have laid the groundwork for this, as will next month Captain America: Brave New Worldbut the film has yet to be officially announced.
Industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH said (via CBM): “I can now confirm that a World War Hulks movie is in development.”
This is promising and suggests that the film will be part of the “Mutant Saga”. There was also talk of a Hulk vs. Wolverine movie, so maybe the MCU’s new Logan will be tasked by Department H with defeating the Incredible Hulk?
In any case, World War Hulk it could become an epic film, and an announcement made as soon as San Diego Comic-Con or this year’s D23 could be a possibility. Stay tuned for updates.
