Sony Pictures has released a new trailer for the slasher horror film Eyes of the heartwhich introduces the “Heart Eyes Killer,” who has been wreaking havoc on Valentine’s Day in recent years by stalking and killing romantic couples.
As you’ll see, the film promises to deliver a bloody Valentine’s Day, and if you’re a fan of slasher films, this one includes all the clichés of the genre and plenty of super gory kills.
In the film “Two Colleagues (Olivia Holt AND Freemason Gooding) are mistaken for a couple by a killer in Seattle on Valentine’s Day. Forced to escape the killer, they must explore the city’s romantic landscape while working together to survive.”
This movie looks like a lot of fun! It comes from the director Josh Rubenwith a screenplay co-written by Christopher Landon AND Michael Kennedy (Freaky, it’s a wonderful knife, it cuts time).
The director said: “My love for horror is rivaled only by my love for romantic comedies. [It’s] my most challenging genre to date: a brutal slasher in a nostalgic romantic comedy universe.”
The film is also the protagonist Gigi Zumbado, Jordana BrewsterAND Devon Sawa.
Sony Pictures will release Eyes of the heart in theaters February 7, 2025.
