HBO has released the new teaser trailer The last of us Season 2, and in addition to showcasing intense new footage, it also announces that the series will premiere in April 2025!
As you will see, the next chapter of the story will take us on a roller coaster of wild and emotional madness. I’m ready to continue the journey.
The series tells the story of Joel (Pedro Pasquale) and Ellie (Beautiful Ramsey) as they explore a world overrun with zombies infected by a parasitic fungus, not to mention the ruthless vigilantes, mercenaries and cannibals equally desperate to survive.
In season two: “After five years of peace following the events of season one, Joel and Ellie’s collective past catches up with them, bringing them into conflict with each other and into a world even more dangerous and unpredictable than the one they left behind . “
The series is also the protagonist Gabriele LunaAND Rutina Wesley. New cast members for season 2 include Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, Isabela Mercede like Dina, The young Mazino like Jesse, Ariela Barer as Mel, Tati Gabrielle in the role of Nora, Spencer Lord like Owen, and Danny Ramirez as Manny.
Catherine O’Hara also guest stars in a secret role and Jeffrey Wright has joined the cast taking on the role of Isaac, both of whom you see in the trailer.
The last of us returns in 2025.
