New rumors claim to reveal a deleted post-credits scene from CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is in a unique place in their timeline. The studio is picking up the pieces of a fractured and less than fan-favorite era, and moving into what is hopefully a more focused, story-driven phase.

They’ve done it before, and hopefully, they’ll amaze us again in the next few films, culminating in another Russo Brothers-Double Avengers adventure. First things first, we have Captain America: Brave New World.

We’ve seen some interesting trailers and footage from the film, but it’s sure to have some surprises in store. If you’re interested in a spoiler or two, read on. If not, this is your chance to stop reading.

This is also a rumor, so take it as such. According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, who evaluated the results of the reported film shooting:

“In the original version of Captain America: Brave New World the world thinks Ross is dead and in the original post-credits scene Red Hulk was visiting Betty at her house. But this is no longer the case in the final version of the film.”

Here’s where we get into spoiler territory; according to a recent leak (via CB), Captain America: Brave New World ends with President Ross and the leader locked in the raft.

While we expect the latter to be responsible for Ross’ transformation into the Red Hulk, it might be a more appropriate ending for the President to pay for his actions rather than being free to continue being the Hulk.

It’s also a more definitive conclusion for the character Harrison Ford decides not to reprise her role in a future MCU project (though the leak also indicates that the new mid-credits scene sets the stage for a World War Hulk movie).

Recently, the MCU’s Captain America, Anthony Mackie, weighed in on the surrounding chatter Brave New World‘s filming. “It hasn’t been retooled at all, every Marvel movie I’ve done has gone through reshoots, so it’s not a retooling or a remake,” the actor explained.

“You basically get the movie and the story you want, you edit it together, then you go back and shoot a few more scenes.” Seems legit.

In Captain America: Brave New Worldafter meeting the newly elected president of the United States Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Sam Wilson finds himself in the middle of an international incident. He must uncover the motive behind a nefarious global conspiracy before the true mastermind turns the entire world red.

Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie, Danny Ramirez, Shira Haas, Xosha Roquemore, Carl Lumbly, Giancarlo Esposito, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake NelsonAND Harrison Ford. The film is directed by Giulio Onah.

Captain America: Brave New World will be released in American theaters on February 14, 2025.
