Fans are preparing for the return of Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock Daredevil: Born Again. The series picks up five years after the end of Reckless Netflix will focus on Murdock, his closest friends and his nemesis, Kingpin (Vincenzo D’Onofrio), who is still wreaking havoc in Hell’s Kitchen.
The new version of the show was originally picked up for two seasons, but word is we could see at least one more run of episodes starring Marvel’s favorite masked vigilante.
According to The Cosmic Circus (via CBM), “There are already ideas being discussed for a post-Secret Wars Daredevil not only for a third season but also for its future inclusion in the films.” There’s no telling what those films will be, but we can rule out at least one blockbuster coming.
The report later points out that we probably won’t see Daredevil Avengers: Judgment Day because “given the way the first season ends, it’s going to be weird to cut him off from what he’s doing so he can come fight in a multiversal war, and then put him back where he was.”
Apparently there are also some rumors about it Jessica Henwick reprising her role in the MCU as Colleen Wing.
Other small screen updates from the site include that Tommy Maximoff’s story will be saved for whatever comes next for Wiccan and Agatha Harkness with “the rumored Wiccan project and this Agata always season 2″ presumably “the same thing”.
On Marvel Television Daredevil: Born AgainMatt Murdock (Charlie Cox), a blind lawyer with high skills, is fighting for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) pursues his own political endeavors in New York. As their past identities begin to emerge, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
The series is also the protagonist Margherita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabrina Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michele Gandolfiniwith Ayelet Zurer AND Jon Bernthal.
Dario Scardapane is the showrunner.
