On the Kuban coast, volunteers and rescue teams are working around the clock, continuing to clean the beaches after tanker accidents in the Kerch Strait. Veterinarians from all over the country help birds contaminated with fuel oil, stabilize the birds’ condition and then send them to rehabilitation. According to official data, about ten thousand people are trying to eliminate the consequences of the emergency directly on the spot: from Blagoveshchenskaya station to the central beach of Anapa.

Let us recall that on December 15, an accident occurred in the Kerch Strait region with the tankers Volgoneft-212 and Volgoneft-239. There were 27 people on board. The teams were evacuated to the shore, unfortunately one person died. According to official information, the cause of the incident was a storm.
