Millie Bobby Brown and her STRANGER THINGS co-stars say tearful goodbyes after the series ended: “I’m not ready at all”

The fifth and final season of the hit Netflix series Stranger things is officially completed and the star of the show, Millie Bobby Brownshe’s saying goodbye to the project that catapulted her to fame.

After the sci-fi coming-of-age drama wrapped production this week, the two-time Emmy nominee shared a video of her emotional farewell to her fellow cast and crew members, more than eight years after the film ended. Duffer Brothers series premiere.

The actress shared through tears, “Shouldn’t graduation bring relief, like you’re happy to leave teachers and classmates behind? Not me.

“I’m not ready to leave you guys at all. I love each and every one of you and will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you. Thank you.”

He shared the video with a series of behind-the-scenes photos from his five-season run. “Love, El,” Brown wrote in the caption, a nod to her character Eleven.

Brown, who was 12 when the series began, previously praised the show for giving her “the tools and resources to become a better actress,” but admitted she’s ready to go. Stranger things.

“When you’re ready, you say, ‘Okay, let’s do it. We face this last year as seniors. Let’s get out of here,’” he explained Charm. “Stranger things It takes a long time to film and this prevents me from creating stories that I’m passionate about. So I’m ready to say, ‘Thank you and goodbye.'”

Noting that no one is dying, Brown added, “When it’s over, I’ll still be able to see these people.”

Brown’s co-stars also gave some emotional farewells, with actor Will Byers Noah Grappa sharing some of the biggest lessons he learned on set.

“Two days ago, I wrapped up my final scene as Will Byers, and I feel very emotional,” he captioned his throwback memories.

“As I close this chapter of my life, I can’t help but be forever grateful for the incredible people I’ve met and the valuable life and career lessons I’ve learned during this decade-long journey.”

Schnapp praised each of his co-stars, as well as the Duffer brothers and the director Shawn Levysaying, “Growing up I always felt like an outcast, unsure of where I fit in.

“Navigating life in the spotlight carrying this feeling with you, through every awkward phase and awkward moment exposed to the world, was definitely an unusual experience. But I was honored to share it with my incredible co-stars, who understand it like no one else can.

“Stranger things it was more than a job; It was a lifelong dream. A dream come true thanks to the Duffers. Thank you for giving me a chance when I was just a 10 year old and for entrusting me with something so important to both of us.

“Together, this cast and crew have built something truly special, and I couldn’t be more excited for the world to see the final chapter. Stranger things It’s a never-ending story for me – it’s in my heart forever.”

Finn Wolfhardwho plays Mike Wheeler, wrote: “We just wrapped Stranger things Season 5. I’m still in shock. We shot it for a year and I will miss all my friends and our characters terribly. When I think of the show, I imagine this first photo.

“A bunch of silly young people creating something they think is cool but really have no idea what’s coming next. I feel like we are still those people and I’m lucky to still be around them today. I hope you love this season as much as I do. See you next year.”

Sadie Sinkwho joined the cast in season two as Max Mayfield, captioned his post: “This is the conclusion of the series Stranger things. This show, the character and every person involved made me who I am.

“He gave me a wonderful childhood. It took me to my best friends. Saying goodbye is so painful, but I leave with memories and a love that will last a lifetime. I am eternally grateful.
