Just like its predecessor, WandaVisionthe recent Marvel series Agata always told a solid standalone story that fans felt was complete in its ending.
It certainly left the characters open for further stories, but it was indicated that we would see them continue in the next chapter Vision series, which has been described as “the third part of a trilogy” that began with these first two shows.
The star of the show, Kathryn Hahnwas recently announced as a nominee for the next Golden Globes, and according to an industry scooper Daniele Richtmannthis has contributed to the studio’s discussions about a second season, which it says is very close to being greenlit.
Richtman says that, regarding the new series Vision, he also felt that it is the title character, played by Paolo Bettanyand the return of Ultron (James Spader) will appear in “human form sometimes”.
We found out earlier this year that the Vision show had been renewed, with Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas now on board as showrunner. The show is currently on track for a 2026 premiere.
Matalas’ work on Picard he is said to have “greatly impressed studio brass. Marvel chief Kevin Feige, an avowed Trekkie, recently appeared with Matalas in a two-hour episode of the TV series.” Star Trek Inglorious Treksperts podcast.”
It’s said like this Kerry Condon AND James D’Arcy will appear as their respective characters, FRIDAY and Jarvis, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Finally, Richtman says that the Nova the series will focus on Richard Rider and a “team of other Nova members,” although this isn’t the first time we’ve heard that.
Marvel Studios head of streaming, television and animation Brad Winderbaum recently described the project as a “stunning ensemble piece with a great cast of characters,” likely indicating that both Rider and Sam Alexander will be featured. He also said the show will have “shades” of both Star Trek AND Battlestar Galactica.
Are you looking forward to the future of these characters? Would you like another season of Agata always?
