Prime Video has released the first teaser trailer for The Wheel of Time Season 3. The show is based on the fantasy novel series by Robert Jordan.
The third season of the series was announced over two years ago and I honestly forgot that this series was coming before this trailer was released.
In the series, “The lives of five young villagers change forever when a strange and powerful woman arrives, who claims that one of them is the child of an ancient prophecy with the power to forever shift the balance between Light and Darkness.
“They must choose whether to trust this stranger – and each of them – with the fate of the world before the Dark One emerges from his prison and the Last Battle begins.
It is described as “a visionary fantasy that tells the story of a man destined to face the Dark One and save the world – or destroy it”.
In season three, “as threats against the Light multiply, Moiraine Damodred (Rosamund Pike) and Rand al’Thor (Josha Stradowski) embark on a perilous journey into the Aiel Wastes to discover the true fate of the Dragon Reborn.
“With the Forsworn on their tail and Rand’s corrupted power growing ever stronger, Moraine must stop the Dragon from turning Dark… no matter the cost.”
The series will premiere on March 13, 2025.
