Robert Pattinson jokes THE BATMAN sequel is delayed, saying he might retire by the end of the sequel

Robert Pattinson he silenced all the naysayers when he donned the cape and cowl as director Matt Reeves’S The Batman.

While Bruce Wayne’s Dark Knight is one of the most reinvented superheroes around, Pattinson brought his own performance and swagger to the role, making it one of the most successful films of 2022.

A sequel was quickly announced, but instead of trailers and plots for the next film, fans only heard about delays.

In response to the setbacks, Pattinson joked to the New York Times, “I might actually retire by the end of them.” So we have no news regarding an acceleration of the film.

We’re still set for a 2026 release, and while we know a third film is planned, there’s no telling when the edge of the trilogy will emerge.

Meanwhile, Pattinson has more high-profile films in the works. The first is the director Bong Joon Hoscience fiction comedy, Mickey Mouse 17which will be released in theaters on April 18th.

He too is about to embark Christopher Nolanis Universal’s mysterious next project, along with a star-studded cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Charlize Theron, Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Robert PattinsonAND Lupita Nyong’o.
