Disney has released a new trailer for its live-action Snow White film, and focuses much more Gal Gadotshe’s Evil Queen, and she seems to do a great job in the role! However, I still can’t get over the ridiculousness of the CGI Seven Dwarfs.
Movie stars Rachel Zeglerwhich made Disney’s PR team really work for their money because of the controversial comments he made.
It’s funny, because in the trailer, the Evil Queen is talking to Snow White and she says, “You know, I don’t really remember you being so… opinionated.”
It is a live-action musical retelling of the classic 1937 film. The story follows a princess who is saved by seven dwarf miners, Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy and Sneezy, who make Snow White part of their family after being exiled to a dangerous forest by her evil queen.
The film is also the protagonist Ansu Kabia in the role of the Hunter, Martin Klebba like Grumpy, e Andrea Burnap as Jonathan.
Marc Webb (The Extraordinary Spider-Man) directs Snow White from a screenplay by director Barbie Greta Gerwig and playwright Erin Cressida Wilson.
Disney spent a lot of money on this film and will need to make over $400 million to break even. I don’t see much excitement for this film, so it will be interesting to see how it’s received after its release. For the amount of money Disney spent on this movie, it doesn’t look very good.
Snow White will be released in theaters on March 21, 2025.
