CBS has released a trailer for the upcoming series Watsonset six months after the death of Dr. John Watson’s friend and partner, Sherlock Holmes, at the hands of Moriarty.
Morris Chestnut stars in the series as Watson, who resumes his medical career as the head of a clinic dedicated to treating rare disorders.
In the series: “Watson’s old life isn’t over with him, though – Moriarty and Watson are ready to write their chapter in a story that has captivated audiences for more than a century.
“Watson is a medical show with a strong investigative backbone, featuring a modern version of one of history’s greatest detectives as he turns his attention from solving crimes to solving medical mysteries.”
It’s also in the cast Eva Harlow, Peter Mark Kendall, Richie Coster, Inga SchlingmannAND Rochelle Aytes.
The series will premiere following the AFC Championship Game on January 26, 2025 on CBS and will also be available to stream on Paramount+. The series will air regularly starting February 16.
