Carrie-Anne Moss says she doesn’t feel an MCU return is coming, although she ‘would love to play her again’

The series is only a few months away Daredevil: Born Againin which we will see the character Matt Murdock alias Daredevil (Charlie Cox) return with his friends and his nemesis Kingpin, who we met in the Netflix original series Reckless.

We know the series will also introduce the return of Netflix-era vigilante the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and this has led some fans to wonder if we’ll see other actors return to roles from those shows.

An actor who appeared in the series Jessica Jonesas well as throughout Netflix’s Marvel-verse Carrie-Anne Mosswho played Jeri Hogarth, a no-nonsense, determined lawyer who helped the heroes, even when she didn’t see eye-to-eye with them.

During an interview with The Direct, Moss was asked about her possible return and she said of the possibility:

“I enjoyed playing her. I don’t really pay much attention [to] what is going on with the whole universe. I loved playing her, one of my favorite roles I’ve ever played. Obviously I’d love to play her again, but I can’t see it. I’m pretty intuitive. I don’t feel like it will happen to me. But I don’t know.”

Marvel character Hogarth suffered severely from ALS in the third season of Jessica Jonesso it could be assumed that she died or became too unfit for work. But it’s the MCU, so any number of things could have happened to bring the character back.

From the snap to the multiverse, changes may have occurred that would have allowed her to proceed. But we’ll just have to wait and see.

Daredevil: Born Again will debut on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.
