Oscar winner Angelina Jolie he signed on to star in the directorial Alice Winocourit’s the next movie, Points. The film is set in the world of high fashion and begins in Paris. All other plot details are being kept under wraps. The film will reportedly be shot in French and English, as in Winocour’s previous film, Next.
Jolie is at the center of this season’s awards conversation for her role Maria Callas in the film Fremantle/Apartment/Netflix, Mary.
The film, directed by Pablo Larrainis 77% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes. Jolie also directed the Western-inspired film Two Hander, Without blood, world premiered at TIFF. That film is the protagonist Salma Hayek AND Demián Bichir.
The pic follows a woman who survives the mass killing of her family, who later in life faces her killer. It is based on the novel by Alessandro Baricco.
