There is a Spaceship soldiers game that was recently launched on VR platforms titled Starship Troopers: Continuumand I have the launch trailer for you to watch.
The features of the game Casper Van Dien reprising his role as Johnny Rico, and the game is set 25 years after the Battle of Klendathu. “The war between the Federation and the Arachnids is at a standstill, but the planet Janus-4 hides a secret that threatens to tip the balance of the war: The Continuum.”
Players take on the role of a PsyCommander, “an ‘experiment’ with advanced psychic powers including: controlling soldiers, leveling them up and trying to keep them alive; promote them to citizenship for big bonuses and advance your powers faster; and add psychic advantages to build your perfect soldier. The game features three-player online team combat.
As someone who likes to play VR games, it sounds like this could be fun. I’m also a huge fan of the Starship Troopers franchise and have no problem killing bugs.
Starship Troopers: Continuum is available now for Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S and will arrive on PSVR2 on November 25, 2024.
