Netflix has released the trailer for The children’s trainwhose story is set in Italy immediately after the events of the Second World War concerning the children sent to the north of the country.
The children’s train is an adaptation of By Viola Ardone bestselling novel, The children’s train. “Set in post-World War II Italy, the story follows a group of children who are sent away from their poor families in the South to live with families in the North. The novel explores themes of identity, belonging and the indomitable spirit of children.”
This looks like a beautifully shot film that tells a powerful and inspiring story. It is directed by Cristina Comencini and becomes the protagonist Serena Rossi, Barbara Ronchi, Stefano AccorsiAND Cristiano Cervone.
The children’s train will be released on Netflix starting December 4, 2024.
