More photos have emerged from the set of the live-action series from MGM+ and Prime Video Spider-Noir and offer a new look Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly. Looks like he’s grabbing a quick sandwich for lunch.

The series will follow an “aging, down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, forced to reckon with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”

This show will bring “a new twist to the Spider-Man saga with their next show. Breaking with tradition, this series will feature Nicolas Cage as Ben Reilly, rather than the iconic Peter Parker.”

It was also previously revealed that Spider-Man Noir will face off against Silvio Manfredi, aka Silvermane, and Yuri Watanabe, aka Wraith.

Another description of the series reads: “We follow Ben Reilly, a private investigator, as he stumbles down a den of corruption in 1933 New York City, while also establishing his past as a superhero.

“Reilly investigates the death of Edward Addison, which leads him to discover that the mayor is up to something nefarious involving crime boss Silvermane and femme fatale Yuri Watanabe.”

Cage previously spoke about what led him to reprise a live-action role, saying, “I know the phone is going to be ringing off the hook to play serial killers after ‘Longlegs.’ And that’s just not what I like to do.

“I don’t like violence. I don’t want to play people who hurt people. One of the things I like about this potential show is that it’s fantasy. It’s not really people who hit people. Monsters are involved.”

It’s also in the cast Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, Abraham Popoola, Li Jun LiAND Lucas Haas (Lady in White, Inception).

Spider-Noir was developed by Oren Uziel AND Steve Lightfootwho will also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. They developed the series with In the Spider-Verse team of Phil Lord, Christopher MillerAND Amy Pascalall of whom will also be executive producers.
