Ted Lasso star Phil Dunster he is set to act opposite Steve Carell in the new HBO comedy series, from which it comes Bill Lawrence (Ted Lasso, Shrinking) AND Matt Tarse (Scrub).
All we know about the series so far is that the story is set on a college campus and centers on an author’s (Carell) complicated relationship with his daughter.
There is no information on who will play Dunster in the series, but he is a series regular and I’m sure he will be great in the project.
The show is set at Warner Bros. TV. and the first episode is written by Scrub collaborators Lawrence and Tarses, who also executive produce the show alongside Carell.
The series will consist of 10 episodes and will last half an hour, with a single camera. The creative team behind the project has done some fantastic and fun work in the past, so I can’t wait to see what comes of this project.
