Season 1 of the series Poker face was packed with great guest stars and season two promises to be just as impressive.
Awkwafina (The farewell), Corey Hawkins (Straight from Compton), Simone Rex (Red Rocket) AND Cliff “Method Man” Smith (Power Book II: Ghost) all joined the cast as guest stars in the second season of the Emmy Award-winning Peacock original series. Details on who they will play are still under wraps.
They join previously announced guest stars Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, Gaby Hoffmann, Kumail Nanjiani, Sherry Cola, Kevin Corrigan, Ben Marshall, Caterina Narducci, Cinzia Erivo, BJ Novak, Margo Martindale, John Mulaney, Ego Nwodim AND Sam Richardson.
From the creator, writer, director and EP Ryan Johnson, Poker face is the mystery series of the week that follows Natasha LyonneIt’s Charlie, who has an uncanny ability to tell when someone is lying. He hits the road in his Plymouth Barracuda and at each stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes that he can’t help but solve.
Showrunner Tony Tost executive produces the second season alongside Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman and Lilla Zuckerman. Poker face is Johnson and Bergman’s first television series from T-Street and is produced by MRC, alongside Natasha Lyonne, under its Animal Pictures production banner. Lyonne will direct again in season two.
Poker face will return in 2025.
