Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o (12 Years a Slave, Black Panther) joined the ensemble cast of Christopher Nolanthe next event film at Universal. He joins previously announced cast members Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway AND Zendaya.
The film is expected to begin shooting in early 2025, but sources note that loglines or descriptions of the film that have been published to date are incorrect and details are being kept under wraps.
The film will be released on Imax on July 17, 2026, in line with a number of Nolan films that have had similar release windows.
Nyong’o was recently seen in the Paramount photo A quiet place: first day. He also lent his voice to Universal and DreamWorks Animation films The wild robot.
