New rumors about AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY provide more details on the return of Wanda Maximoff

With news from The Russo brothers stating this Avengers: Judgment Day will be on par with the scale of Avengers: Endgameand knowing that the multiverse is involved, making anything possible, including a Tony Stark transformed into Doctor Doom, rumors and speculation are bound to fly.

One plot that has been reported is this Elizabeth OlsenScarlet Witch, aka Wanda Maximoff, could be Robert Downey Jr.she is Doctor Doom’s lover in the story.

Now a new piece of the puzzle has been revealed, or at least rumored. According to Beyond The Trailer (via CBM), the outlet claims we’ll see these two team up in the film, and Olsen will indeed play Earth-616’s Wanda Maximoff, Not a variant.

This means that she survived the events of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessand it’s pretty easy to see how her rampage across the Multiverse – which ended with the destruction of every copy of the Darkhold – could put her on Doom’s radar.

Fans have rejected the idea that Wanda is a villain, so it could be that Doom is manipulating Scarlet Witch or taking advantage of her confused state. Whatever the case, these Avengers films could end up setting the stage for his long-rumored solo outing.

The channel also states this Scarlet Witch AND Wicca the films are both under study at Marvel Studios, while Young Avengers seems increasingly likely. With regard to Aubrey Squarehe is now expected to play Death in several film and television projects.

In the comics, Wanda is a Nexus Being, “a living focal point for Earth’s mystical energies”, and Doom’s attempt to help her gain the power she needed to resurrect her children is what Truly drove her crazy years ago.
