Mark Wahlberg AND Michelle Monaghan will return for a sequel to the action comedy The Family Plan at Apple Original Studios. They will join Zoe Colletti AND Van Crosbywho will also reprise their roles.
Simon Cellan Jonesdirector of the action comedy, will return with David Coggeshallthe writer of the first film.
Wahlberg in a statement: “I am beyond thrilled to return as Dan Morgan again alongside my brilliant co-stars, and with the return of Simon and David.
“Manufacturing The Family Planand seeing it become an instant hit with global audiences has been incredibly rewarding.
“We look forward to collaborating again with our partners at Apple and Skydance on this next chapter for the Morgan family as their European vacation inevitably goes awry.”
The first movie was just one of those silly projects to provide fun entertainment for families. It wasn’t a great film and received negative reviews from critics, but audiences appreciated it.
David Ellison, Dana Goldberg AND Don Granger will produce the film for Skydance.
